HOW TO HANDLE BETRAYA

This story resonates with me. I have been there several times. In the near future, I will be sharing on HOW TO HANDLE BETRAYAL. Till then, enjoy this story. "A woman from India who lived in the Middle Ages had a pet snake, python, which she loved so much. The snake was 4 meters long and looked healthy.  However, one day her unusual pet just stopped eating. This lack of appetite in the snake continued over a few weeks. The desperate woman tried everything she could and offered anything that a snake would like to strangle and eat. Nothing worked, and finally the woman took her loving pet to the veterinarian as a last resort. The vet listened to the woman carefully and asked, “Does your snake sleep with you at night, wrap around you closely and spread full length?? The woman was surprised and with a lot of hope she said,  “Yes! Yes! It does it every day and it makes me so sad because I see something asking of me, and I cannot help it feel better.” Then, the vet...

_SUCCESS IS NOT A CALLING BUT A DECISION !

_SUCCESS IS NOT A CALLING BUT A DECISION !_  The economy is tight, yet people are still buying cars. People are opening new businesses. People are expanding new frontiers, How?  Stop complaining! Government is not the answer for the hour. You are the driver of your own destiny. I have never seen anytime in the history of the human race when there are no hard times. Yet people made waves and affected their generation. If you see anybody complaining, then you see a frustrated lazy man or woman looking for cheap answers and solutions. Nothing in life will ever come easy. I believe what we need at this period is the drive to push until victory comes. _Many successful people had tried one thing or the other before they became successful._ "I Have Never Seen A RICH Person Who Has Never lost Money. But I Have Seen A Lot Of POOR People Who Have Never Lost A Dime" ---Robert Kiyosaki- "The Primary Difference Between The RICH And The POOR Is How They Handle FEAR in I...

TAKE A REST BEFORE YOU ARE LAID TO REST

Thought I should share this 👇 TAKE A REST BEFORE YOU ARE LAID TO REST Dear All, There is no doubt, things are tough in Nigeria today. To enjoy a healthy living and survival, it takes dedicated efforts and the Grace of God. Be satisfied with what you have. Spend wisely and buy only what you really need to make you live healthily. Avoid conflicts in any form. Many people are angry, frustrated  and ready to kill at any little provocation!. Patience is key. Ignore and avoid trouble as much as possible and learn to say the magic words "I am sorry". Men should please control their anger. We know how hard it is to make ends meet these days but please, don't take it down on your family. Let your home be a peaceful place. Don't worry, we will all smile, again, hopefully. Women, endure with your husbands. Don't complain. Show love. Be good mothers, create fun to ease tension. Your health should be very important, give it a priority. Eat moderately...

SEVEN DANGEROUS PEOPLE IN AN ORGANISATION

SEVEN DANGEROUS PEOPLE IN AN ORGANISATION YOU NEED TO KNOW AND HANDLE THEM WITH WISDOM AND  KNOWLEDGE: As a Leader, beware that at one stage or the other in your church, business or association, you will find yourself dealing with the following groups of people. If you don't have wisdom to deal with them, your position and efforts are in danger. 1. THOMAS GROUP -They walk with you but they don't really believe in you. Though God can use you in front of them, they are not easily moved they take time to believe in you. These people can delay your vision and they are also not aware they are also delaying themselves. It's a struggle and a burden to lead people who don't believe in you. 2. JUDAS  GROUP- They walk with you but they have issues with you when God begins to bless you. They are not happy when things of great value are given to you. In short they are jealous of your success. When elevation comes they will say we are poor in the work place but the Boss is ...

BANK ACCOUNT AND LIFE MANAGRMENT

Imagine there is a bank, which credits your account each morning with N250000, carries over no balance from day to day, allows you to keep no cash balance, and every evening cancels whatever part of the amount you had failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every kobo,  of course! Well, everyone has such a bank. Its name is Time. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the records of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow Therefore, there is never not enough time or too much time. Time management is decided by us alone and nobody else. It is never the case of us not having enough time to do things, but the case of whether we want to do it. Alway...

THE PIGEON, THE TEMPLE, THE CHURCH & THE MOSQUE

THE PIGEON, THE TEMPLE, THE CHURCH & THE MOSQUE In an ancient Temple, a number of pigeons lived happily on roof top. When the renovation of the Temple began for the annual Temple feast the pigeons relocated themselves to a Church nearby. The existing pigeons in the Church accommodated the new comers very well. Christmas was approaching and the Church was given a facelift, All the pigeons had to move out to look for another place. They were fortunate to find a place in a Mosque nearby, the pigeons in the Mosque welcomed them happily. It was Ramadan time and the Mosque was repainted, All the pigeons now came to the same Ancient Temple. One day the pigeons on top found some communal clashes below in a market square. The baby pigeon asked the mother pigeon "Who are these people ? ```The mother replied; they are``` *_"Human beings"._* The baby asked, But why are they fighting with each other...? The mother said "These human beings going to Tem...

YOU CANNOT GET BY PRAYER WHAT YOU SHOULD GET BY CHARACTER & OBEDIENCE

I don't know who authored this, but it's powerful, knowledge, wisdom & educative! Take time to read it.... A man’s character is his fate. Heraclitus Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States (US), said: “Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude .” As a clergyman, I have watched pitiably how people self-sabotage themselves by seeking spiritual solutions to character-deficit issues. They look around at everybody as suspects for their predicaments when their greatest demons lurks within them - their character. What we often call our destiny is truly our character, and since that character can change, then destiny can be altered. Character is destiny . Is prayer actually EVERYTHING? Many would begin to argue back and forth on this intriguing question, but my main purpose of writing this piece is not to get involved in arguments. _Arguments don’t impr...

What is the difference between http and https?

Some of you may be aware of this difference, but it is worth sharing for many that are not. The main difference between http:// and https:// is all about keeping you secure. HTTP stands  for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol.  The S (big  surprise)  stands for "Secure". If you visit a Website or web page, and look at the address in the web browser, it is likely begin with the following: http:///. This means that the website is talking to your browser using the regular unsecured language. In other words, it is possible for someone to  "eavesdrop" on your computer's conversation with  the Website. If you fill out a form on the website, someone might see the information you send to that site.       This is why you never ever enter your credit card number in an Http website! But if the web address begins with https://, that means your computer is talking to the website in  a Secure code that no one can eavesdrop on.  Now, you ...

Solutions to complex problems

Solutions to complex problems are usually simple, but we get consumed by the enormity of the situation that we become blind to what we should readily see. Found this in Memory. A good read👇 'Many hundreds of years ago in a small Italian town, a merchant had the misfortune of owing a large sum of money to the moneylender. The moneylender, who was old and ugly, fancied the merchant’s beautiful daughter so he proposed a bargain. He said he would forgo the merchant’s debt if he could marry the daughter. Both the merchant and his daughter were horrified by the proposal. The moneylender told them that he would put a black pebble and a white pebble into an empty bag. The girl would then have to pick one pebble from the bag.If she picked the black pebble, she would become the moneylender’s wife and her father’s debt would be forgiven. If she picked the white pebble she need not marry him and her father’s debt would still be forgiven. But if she refused to pick a pebble, her father w...

Become Matured

It’s time to become mature 7 April 2019 EXTRACT FROM UCB WORD FOR TODAY.  ‘Maturity is the ability to control your anger and settle your differences without violence or resentment.  Maturity is patience;  it’s the willingness to pass up short-term pleasure for long-term gain.  It’s the ability to “sweat it out” in spite of heavy opposition or discouraging setbacks.  It’s the capacity to face unpleasantness and frustration without complaining or collapsing.  Maturity is humility.  It’s being big enough to say, “I was wrong,” and when you are right, never needing to say, “I told you so.”  Maturity is the ability to make a decision and follow through with it instead of exploring endless possibilities and doing nothing about any of them.  Maturity means dependability, keeping your word, and coming through in a crisis. The immature are masters of alibi;  they’re the confused and the disorganised.  Their lives ...

They had to get the lady off the plane

_A woman was touched by the power of the Holy Spirit this morning right after boarding on the plane leaving for Jamaica in Dubai. _She kept hopping and screaming, "Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!_ _The flight was delayed by 2 hours, and they had to get the lady off the plane._ _Right afterwards, the flight captain noticed that the plane had a serious engine problem as they were taxing off to the take off runaway. The captain got the information from the groundcrew who noticed some smoke and electric sparks on one of the engines. The captain later admitted that had the woman not held them up with her behavior, they could have flown off with a faulty engine, which was going to shut down obvious in mid air and/or maybe explode causing them to crush. "I believe the woman was God sent to save us from this terrible disaster" These were the captain's own words. _Thank you Lord ! The life of your children is important to you and it is you alone who decides the end of their...

What is your POINTS on Mathematical differences:

Mathematical differences: 2+5=7.  6+1=7.    3+4=7.    7-0=7 7+0=7.  9-2=7.     8-1=7.    11-4=7 15-8=7 14/2=7.    21/3=7.   70/10=7 7x1=7 What's my point?? My point is that there are so many ways of getting to your final destination. The Lord may not take you through the same way He took your mom, dad, friend or colleague. What matters is that He will take you to your destination if you don't give up. At times, you get there by adding things and people in your life. Other times you will get there by subtracting certain things and people from your life. Other times, you may need the multiplying effect of seed, information and relationships... Other times, division and separation might be inevitable... "Some of these may not be fun". When 2 was alone it may not have been comfortable until 5 was added. What matters is not the (addition, subtraction, multiplication or division).. Yes, the...

THE POISONED BREAD CANNOT KILL

A woman baked bread for members of her family and an extra one for a hungry passerby. She kept the extra bread on the Window-sill, for whosoever would take it away. Everyday, a hunch-back came and took away the bread. Instead of expressing gratitude, he muttered the following words as he went his way: "The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!" This went on, day after day. Everyday, the hunch-back came, picked up the bread and uttered the words: "The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!" The woman felt irritated. "Not a word of gratitude," she said to herself... "Everyday this hunch-back utters this jingle! What does he mean? "One day, out of despiration, she decided to do away with him. "I shall get rid of this hunch-back," she said. And what did she do? She added poison to the bread she prepared for him! As she was about to keep it on the window sill, her hands trembled. ...

THE POWER OF PASSING IT ON

THE POWER OF PASSING IT ON By Dr. Myles Munroe. 1.  The Greatest Act Of Leadership Is Mentoring. 2.  If what you learn, achieve, accumulate or accomplish dies with you then you are a generational failure. 3.  Mentoring is the manifestation of the highest level of personal maturity, security and self confidence. 4.  An insecure person will never Train People, they will oppress people. 5.  Mature people create people greater than themselves. 6.  Your assignment has a shelf life. 7.  You will die one day; so train your replacement. 8.  Your Greatest Gift to the world is your mentee. 9.  True leaders do not seek followers, followers are attracted to true leaders. 10.  The Greatest obligation of true leadership is to transfer your deposit to the next generation. 11.  Leadership success is measured by the success of your successor. 12.  No matter how great you may have been, if you didn't produce a successor...

RULES THAT MAKES YOU FLY

SOME SOCIAL RULES THAT MAY HELP YOU: 1. Don’t call someone more than twice continuously. If they don’t pick up your call, presume they have something important to attend to; 2. Return money that you have borrowed even before the other person remembers lending it to you. It shows your integrity and character. Same goes with umbrellas, pens and lunch boxes; 3. Never order the expensive dish on the menu when someone is giving you a lunch/dinner. If possible ask them to order their choice of food for you; 4. Don’t ask awkward questions like ‘Oh so you aren’t married yet?’ Or ‘Don’t you have kids’ or ‘Why didn’t you buy a house?’ Or why don't you buy a car? For God’s sake it isn’t your problem; 5. Always open the door for the person coming behind you. It doesn’t matter if it is a guy or a girl, senior or junior.  You don’t grow small by treating someone well in public; 6. If you take a taxi with a friend and he/she pays now, try paying next time; 7. Respect different shade...

INTELLIGENCE VERSUS WISDOM

I WISH I HAD KNOWN THESE PROFOUND  DISTINCTIONS  BETWEEN  INTELLIGENCE AND WISDOM!!!  1. Intelligence leads to arguments. Wisdom leads to settlements. 2. Intelligence is power of will. Wisdom is power OVER  will. 3. Intelligence is heat, it burns. Wisdom is warmth, it comforts. 4. Intelligence is pursuit of knowledge, it tires the seeker. Wisdom is pursuit of truth, it inspires the seeker. 5. Intelligence is holding on. Wisdom is letting go. 6. Intelligence leads you. Wisdom guides you. 7. An intelligent man thinks he knows everything. A wise man knows that there is still something to learn. 8. An intelligent man always tries to prove his point. A wise man knows there really is no point. 9. An intelligent man freely gives unsolicited advice. A wise man keeps his counsel until all options are considered. 10. An intelligent man understands what is being said. A wise man understands what is left unsaid. 11. An intelligent man speaks ...

The Twist of Life

The twist of life. Few weeks ago, I was driving on Apapa-Oshodi expressway and stopped briefly under the Ilasamaja Bridge to pick a call. Suddenly, a Danfo bus pulled up beside me, the bus conductor jumped out and landed by my side. I thought I was about to be robbed! However, the conductor had other plans... 'Oshodi Oshodi Oshodi o...' I heaved a sigh of relief and breathed deeper, then I saw a guy I'd known for long. Years of separation couldn't play on me any trick. He was one of the brightest guys in our class back then, and had won for us a couple of Inter-School competitions. He was of a modest middleclass family that valued education and when he says a word is 'adjectival proverb' or 'future present past participle', we dared not argue because he was usually and always right. Always ahead. He had a way of mentally working out complex mathematical equations without writing. He was a silent threat to the 'booboo' teachers and wou...

CHRISTIANO RONALDO'S LESSON

Christiano Ronaldo's Lesson! When he received one of his awards recently, Ronaldo dedicated it to a certain ... Alberto Fantrau. Then said: "Yes I am a great footballer and all my success is due to my friend Alberto good heart" People looked at one another and said, "Who is this Mr. Fantrau?" Then Ronaldo went on: "We played together in a youth team. When Sporting of Lisbon recruiters came to observe us, they told us that the striker who scored the most goals will be recruited into the sports academy. That day we won 3-0. I scored the first goal and then Albert scored the 2nd with the head. And then the 3rd goal was the one that impressed everyone. Alberto started from the wing, then found himself face to face with the keeper, dribbled the goalkeeper and all he had to do was to push the ball into the empty goal post . In the meantime I was running to his side and instead of shooting into the empty goal post, Alberto decided to pass the ball to me and...
